About the Midwest Roadsters

After the very first Z3 Homecoming in 1997, it was evident that the enthusiasm for such a fun ride shouldn't be limited to a single annual event. Fred, Colleen, Bob and Carter met up at an Evanston, IL eatery on a drizzly fall day and tossed about a few ideas for local organization and the Midwest Roadsters were born. The following spring, more roadster enthusiasts were gathered to discuss the idea of a Z3 convoy to Homecoming '98. Since then, the group has found core regulars as north as Minnesota, as south as Arkansas and many, many points in-between. Whether exploring the local twisties in a full-fledged event, or huddled under an awning during a downpour, the Midwest Roadster group always manages to have fun.
